🎣CatchHour
App in development

Fish don't feed all day.
Know which hours do.

CatchHour scores every hour at your water — from your location or a pin anywhere in the world. It reads pressure, its trend, wind, temperature, cloud, rain, the sun and the moon, and tells you plainly when it is worth going.

Built on the forecast engine already used daily by anglers in Georgia.

Most apps read one weather model. We read five.

A single model can be wrong about wind or a passing front — and a forecast built on it is wrong with it. CatchHour takes the median of five national models, so one outlier cannot move your score.

Five models, one median

ECMWF, ICON, GFS, UKMO and ARPEGE. The median is what you see — the outlier is outvoted.

📊

See them disagree

Every model is shown hour by hour. When they diverge, that uncertainty is yours to judge — not hidden.

📖

An open method

Three-hour pressure tendency to the WMO standard, solunar periods, moon phase. Every factor and its weight is written down.

What goes into an hour's score

Nine factors, weighted — not one number dressed up as a prediction. Each is shown separately, so you can see why an hour scored the way it did.

Barometric pressure 3-hour pressure trend Wind speed Air temperature Cloud cover Precipitation Time of day & light Solunar period Moon phase Wave height (sea)
